Musicals Around the WorldI don't know about you, but I love it when musicals open in foreign countries. It's just so interesting for me to see a show open up in a different language, with different costumes and staging and it's just amazing to me how many musicals have gone international and where they have gone. So, why don't we make a list of international musicals, and where they are heading to. When I saw international musicals, I am talking about musicals that have performed in countries other than the one that they originated in or musicals that are planning on going to foreign countries. Post it even if it's an unconfirmed rumor, because I've found that in the business of international musicals, unconfirmed rumors become confirmed very quickly. For example, in late '05, rumors started to surface that Wicked was opening in London at the Apollo Victoria in September '06. Anyone who posted anything about a London production of Wicked before January '06 was banned from the Stephen Schwartz forum, but they confirmed that Wicked was opening in London in February '06. Well, since MDN is not affiliated with any particular show, we can post rumors.
