Musical Theatre-related dreams

Have you ever had a musical theatre-related dream? I've been having them a lot more often recently. A couple nights before, I had a dream that I went backstage to "Legally Blonde" and I met the dog playing Bruiser named Chino. The next day, (I really never knew what the dog's real name was), I looked on the internet and saw that his name was Chico. Also, last night I had a dream that "Mamma Mia" was closing and that "Cats" was opening at the Winter Garden in November, with previews starting on October 4th. Also, I once had a dream that "A Chorus Line" recouped (this was a couple days before it actually did) and that they planned a tour, and a couple days later they announced that. This morning, I was so excited about the "Cats" revival, that I looked it up on Playbill as soon as I woke up, but I was very disappointed that it was just a dream.

Well, I have dreams on me on the backstage of moulin rouge's set. On a stage, and not the one in the movie. And the casts were there. Ewan McGregor was there. He's my favourite actor of all time! Especially after he received the Honorary Doctorate for Theatre.

And I have dreams that I was dancing away on the stage of mama mia, I saw myself in Phantom of the Opera, hairspray! It was so fun! ya, usually when I wake up, I wished God will put me back to sleep so I can continue dreaming about it again! LOL!

haha i mentioned this here but i had a dream awhile ago that i was eating dinner with Kristen Chenoweth and Laura Bell Bundy but we weren't really talking to eachother. We were just all sitting around a table eating a bunch of spaghetti, quite strange. I also once had a dream that I was trying to get backstage at the Sweeney Todd revival in NY but i kept being led down a bunch of stairways and passage ways but i could never get there.

All my dreams consist of musical or theatre stuff.

...I had the most epic Evita dream a few years back.

It was so creepy, and I don't particularly want to remember it, because I woke up frightened and not knowing who or where I was. Shocked Let's just say it involved switching perspectives, blue fountains, flying beds, and Disney-esque songs.

Many times. The one that I remember best right now involves the Phantom of the Opera, a performance of the Secret Garden, the kidnapping of the actress playing Mary, my crawling through an air vent into the costume room and other such strange things.

I've been having trouble remembering my dreams lately, but I have had MT dreams. I had a dream I was playing Christine Daae and my enemy got cast as Raoul. I've had dreams about auditioning, too. I write all my dreams down, but I don't have my notebook right now so I can't list all of them.

Dreaming of going to the second or third rehearsal and finding out you were absent for several weeks, and it is now opening night and you only know a few lines.

When I was doing "Beauty and the Beast" and "Ragtime", I would always have dreams that I would have a nearly perfect performance, and then go up on stage and the scene starts, and I have no memory of that scene ever existing. Then, I woke up and realized that the scene never really did exist.

I dreamed a dream in time gone by...

I had a dream I went to Rent on Broadway once, and in the upstairs of the Theatre they were playing a kid-friendly version of it.

I had a dream that I was in C4U and the director had double cast the show, but the casts performed together, and I had been cast as Polly. So, I performed with another girl, and we traded off saying lines. Weirdest Dream Ever.

The only theatre-related dreams I have are: almost every show I've done, after it's over I'll have dreams about missing my cue to first come on stage, and it's always in some really weird way. I'm always really devastated and then I wake up and realize the show is already over and it was just a dream and feel a lot better.

I've dreamt a handful of times that I was playing Joseph in "Dreamcoat." Which is strange because that's not even the part I would really want to have in that show.
