I know its illegal and everything..but is there anywhere on the internet i can find a free score of songs from wicked. i'm looking to perform "for good" with a friend of mine for this farewell concert for graduating music student seniors at my school, and the song would be perfect.

You could try emailing michaelcole@stephenschwartz.com and asking him for a PDF of the song....

But - I don't see why he should give it to you, to be honest - as the full song is available in the sheet music book - which is still available to buy.

actually the opening of for good isn't in the book. it doesn't have "unlimited. just look at me i'm limited and just look at you, you can do all i couldn't do. glinda... so now it's upto you. for both of us. now it's upto you..." but it starts from the music before g(a)linda goes "i've heard it said..." and yadadada...

No formal sheet music of that section exists for piano and vocal - as it's just based on previous themes heard in the show, and it was written by Stephen then and there in workshops by hand.

A friend of mine got the accopmaniment off of iTunes. It has the beginning and everything. And it's not music, it's actually a music file.

If you want the original music, as aposed to the sheet music, you can contact Stephen and request it, it says inside the vocal book.

I contacted Stephen Schwartz and got the full version of "Dancing Through Life" It's cool. It even has more than what's on the CD. It pretty much has all the music from the start of the song (including all background music, elphie's dance music, and the exit music going into the "popular" scene) all the dialogue is written in too. I also got the opening and the full "No One Mourns the Wicked" I'm so glad that Mr. Schwartz allowed us Die Hard Crazy Wicked fans this wonderful sheetmusic.
