music for...

I want to use the song "Taylor, the latte boy" for my bare audition, but I can only find the music in one -rather expensive- book which my library does NOT carry =[. Does anyone know where I can get the sheet music? Thanks!

Are you sure you want to do Taylor the Latte Boy? It's VERY well known and VERY VERY overdone.

idk

I don't know. I've been searching for a song for forever it seems and I cannot find one that I like and that goes along with the rock/pop style. I have looked at tons of songs and am just completely lost.

For Bare you need a rock/pop song from a musical with that sound, 1980's or more modern. Type in rock musicals in Wikipedia and it will bring up a whole list of musicals to search for suitable material. Have a look at The Life, Chess, Tommy, shows like that. Taylor the Latte boy I would think is not suitable for a Bare audition.

Acid Queen or Smash the Mirror from Tommy? (Smash the mirrors pretty short, but I LOOOOVE it. I got a callback for Mrs. Walker at my musical theatre camp. I didn't get the part but i had to sing Smash the Mirror for my callback and fell in love with it)
Are you a belter?
ForeverYoung

um

I know that Taylor the latte boy wasn't an "appropriate" song for the audition, but I was so lost that i figured, better to sing a song I'm good at and love then a song that i barely know...also I thought it might be a nice difference to make them remember me as I doubt I'll get a lead and will probably be a background person.
I'm not a great belter, I've been working on it for a while, but I'm afraid of hurting my voice, because i can't afford a teacher...but yes i can belt reasonbly well if needed. (and in this instance it really is).
Thanks for the suggestion I will definetly check it out.
