My high school is interested in running a sort of mini Children's Theatre for the elementary school kids with a small admission fee, and we'd like to do some fairytales and that sort of thing. They're all talking about writing them and such, but I know they'll turn out pretty crappy If licensing isn't too bad for something like Alice in Wonderland Jr., I feel sure they'd consent do that instead. But of course you need to be the head of the organization to get any kind of quote from MTI. So I wonder if anyone has any kind of idea what the licensing for any of those Jr. or Kids shows goes for when being performed at a non-elementary or jr. high school
Or, perhaps a good free resource for theatrical adaption of fairytales or some such.

The broadwayjr show kits cost $495.00 plus shipping and handling and taxes. Some titles (including Alice in Wonderland) are a little more expensive ($550.00)
