Dear "Sweeney Todd" Fans,

I've heard that Mrs. Lovett has gone by the first names of "Nellie", "Margery", "Mary", etc.

Her name is "Nellie" on Broadway. I think that her name is "Margery" in the movie (?). Has Mrs. Lovett ever been given any other first names?

Well I don't know of any other names, but I know that her name was Margery in the original legend way back when.

I don't think her name is Margery in the movie... I've seen it more times than I can count, and I've never picked up on that. I could be wrong though.

She has COUNTLESS other names. I've gotten Nellie, Margery...shoot what else...Maggie, Claudetta, Sarah, Shirley and this other name I can't for the life of me spell. Or pronounce, for that matter. It's like Wilhemia or something, I don't know.

Also I looked on imdb and her name is Nellie in the movie. Yes, I spend way too much time on Sweeney Todd message boards.
