Mr. Bumble is sooo misunderstood...Yes, Mr. Bumble. In my mind he is one of the most lovable oafs to strut the boards. Yes, he punished Oliver for wanting more gruel, and yes, I agree he did go a little overboard on his big hat, but you gotta cut the man some slack. He was only doing it because he was trying to roll in some dough to have a respectable life! He was just trying to put food on the table for Mrs. Bumble and himself! Isn't that enough lol

Well, Widow Corney (later Mrs. Bumble) seemed to be doing a swell job of manhandling orphans for food herself....
I <3 the Sowerberries.

Your not the least bit bias are you MrBumbleRocks?
I disagree with you. Selling some one is a sure sign of evilness. I cannot think of one thing Mr.Bumble did that was kind and not for self gain? What do you think?

Just because he's evil doesn't mean he can't rock. I mean, go to any Harry Potter fansite and you will be buried by the oodles of Snape, Draco and Voldemort fanatics.

And besides, the guy who created the role in London went on to play Lazar Wolf in another one of my favorite musicals.

Yeah, I always like the mean characters. They are fun, (even though I wouldn't want to meet them in real life). He does rock, as a character, but he is not misunderstood.
