Hugh is british and plays a twit like no other. broderick is american why cast him as evelyn its not even his charactewr typoe. as for Pesci..he isnr washed up. he is a brilliant actor. try getting jobs in hollywood. its hard. He is the perfect moon. Laurie is a brit..why would he be cast as moon.its not him at all. |

Laurie is a brilliant actor and can do an impeccable American accent. I'd like to see his spin on Moon ala House. Pesci's Moon would be the Moon we'd all expect. He's been playing that exact role for years, it would be boring and unfunny. |

I love laurie but he'd be an awful moon. moonfaces insnt "House" House is a bright intellegent though sarcastic and misinthopic doctor. Moon is al oveable,bumbling crook. also why deprive Laurie of the better role? |

Trust me..i was in the show twice. I saw the 87 broadway production not to mention 3 pro productions.
Evelyn is the better role. he gets one oft he shows best songs, "The Gyspsy in Me" which always stops the show. he gets the funniest scene..the stateroom scene with Reno, and he has some of the shows funniest lines. Ive seen great moons and great evelyns. but evelyn is the better written part. |

Right right, there I will agree with you a bit. She has more of a contemporary mix, rather than a full fledged chest belt like Reno is styled to be. I wonder if she can full out belt though? One never knows! If Ashley Brown and Idina Menzel can master and use all three ares of their voice (Head voice, Mix, and Belt) in a show, why shouldnt Sara be able to? | ||||

The MovieAlright so I found out that my high school was doing Anything Goes and I decided to try out. Then I was like hey dad will you rent anything goes for me? So he did... The movie is no where near the same thing as the plays right? except some of the songs. 'Cause my drama teatcher ws telling me about the play and then I watched the movie and I just got realy confused. So, yeah. |
