I've been a big "Little Shop" fan for years, but I'd never seen the highly-elusive alternate ending to the film. I guess they released it on the 1998 DVD, but it was quickly recalled because Geffen thought it looked awful.

Anyway, I found them on You Tube the other day and thought I'd share...

I came upon this when I did the show a while ago, and I gotta say, I much prefer the original. It gives the show more heart, yet suspense. It ties everything together so well, but it leaves you wondering in a giggly kind of way.

I'm not sure.
When they did the alternate in the live show, it was more comedic (which is odd for a death, but it worked)
But I think I prefer it where Audrey survives.
I guess I'm just a sap who likes a happy ending.

I really like the alternate ending and the music is fantastic. But the instrumental part with plants bursting out of walls and scaring people just goes on for forever.
