Miss Saigon school edition?Hey all,Does the Saigon School Edition exist yet in terms of it being freely purchasable? If so, how can I secure a copy for our school's musical theatre group? I'd love to run it and think that this is the year to do it - but how easy is it to secure the rights? Cheers, Joseph |

There may not be a school edition, but I've heard of schools that produced the show. |

My college is doing the show this summer. My theatre arts professor is directing it- she's told us several times how she's going to stage it in the style of Brecht, with minimalist sets and signs used to convey location. |

The show isn't good for high schools.
The all-tenor male principles thingy is gonna alienate a large section of the choir. |

He asked for "freely purchasable", not illegal. |

Yes, schools do put on the show though there probably isn't an offical school edition. Here is a link to a video clip of one, the scene is "The Fall of Saigon." I think it is done pretty well.
