I am a male with a baritone/tenor voice

There is an audition for Miss Saigon coming up on Monday at our school and I'm having a hard time picking a song.

This is the first time I've done this type of audition, are you supposed to pick a song that goes with a certain character?

Previously, I've been the Reverend in Footloose, and Marcellus in The Music Man. What are the supporting male roles in Miss Saigon?

I tried asking my parents for help but they pretty much suggested everything that is on the 'overdone' list.

There aren't really many roles in Miss Saigon. Chris, John, the Engineer, and Thuy. (Chris and the Engineer are leads, John and Thuy are supporting leads.) I'm blanking on good songs and I sat through hours of them less than six months ago. As I recall, some of Che's songs from Evita were popular choices. Or something from Les Miz.

Pick a song that shows off your voice and reflects the style of music of the show. Chris and John both sing in a couple of different styles. The Engineer has to be an amazing actor and very versitile singer.
