Im auditioning for Milly in 7 Brides for 7 Brothers in a few week. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice as ive never been in or seen the show. Thanks, any advice would be really helpful. x

I did Seven Brides for Seven Brothers a while ago and I played the youngest bride Alice. Milly is not a huge dancing role but there is some dancing involved. There is a movie and it is pretty similar to the stage version, but the dances are a lot longer and their is no "brides" song in the show, in our show anyway. Milly is an outspoken women who doesn't except the extremes of a male dominated society. She falls in love with a man who doesn't appreciate her until toward the end of the show. She has to be a wife to one man and an older sister to another six brothers. These six brothers go into down and find six beautiful women that they want to marry. Then with the hlep of the eldest brother Adam they kidnap the other six girls and take them to the house where they stay under the protection of Milly. Milly is a strong character with a heavy vocal part. Good luck at the audition
