millie question

how much of a role do millie's friends have in the show?
how much do they sing? how much do they act? how much do they dance?
thanks

If you're talking about the other brides:
They don't act too much. They are in a lot of scenes, and they all dance a good deal. Her friends mostly sing in the chorus. There are three big dance sequences at "The Social Dance". There is a huge dance sequence, and the second dance sequence for the brides and brothers is "We got to make it through the Winter (Reprise)". There's also the big finale which the entire cast usually participates in. The brides don't sing that much. They sing part of the song with Milly "Wonderful, Wonderful Day" , "Glad that you were born". Most of this is chorus parts and backup harmony for Milly. The brides are in the opening scene where Adam is looking for a wife. Then they are in until after Wonderful, Wonderful Day when Milly gets married. They aren't back in until The Social Dance, and then they are off until the beginning of Act II where they are kidnapped and taken to the farm where Milly is. The girls are in and out through the second act up to and including the arrest of the Seven Brothers for kidnapping the girls. There is a shotgun wedding in which all of the brides and brothers are in attendance.
I would have to say that there is more dancing in the show than either acting or singing for the brides.
