March 15 of this year marked the 50th anniversary of MFL's opening on Broadway, at the Mark Hellinger Theater. At that time, I was offline due to various technical issues which have since been resolved. Does anyone know of any 50th anniversary celebrations or other commemorations? It's a safe bet that Julie Andrews is the only surviving member of the OBC. Almost all the key production crew are long dead; AFAIK the last survivor was conductor Franz Allers, who died in 1995.

I believe Andrews may be th last...Christiopher Hwtt who played Karparthy died last year.
