Menzelmas

Menzelmas, the holiday celebrating the loudest, most overhyped woman on broadway. It is held every time a poster on the forum mentions WICKED or ELPHABA, and lasts approximately seventeen seconds only, the length of time Idina has been known to hold notes. Menzelmas is a time of giving and recieving, but with two requiements: 1. The present must be green; 2. The present must be found, and given within those seventeen seconds, with the greeting, "Happy Menzelmas, Elphie loves you!" gifts given for menzelmas outside of the time constraint are improper and offensive.

NOTE ON POLITICAL CORRECTNESS:

Chenowithkah and Butzaa are other common holidays among the multiopinionated, so be sure you know which greeting to give someone. If all else fails, just say "Sondheim!"
ChingLing

Wouldn't it be Menzelkah and Chenowethmas? To match holidays with faiths and all. Wink
Monsieur D'Arque

well, chingling, it would, if i were PREJUDICED... but in truth, menzelmas sounds much more natural.
ChingLing

I just like matching things. You should see my sock drawer.

And yeah, I guess Chenowethmas is a bit of a mouthful, too.
GlamorousGriz

Menzelmas... hehe.
Fontinau

Should have called it "Menzelismas".

I view this as a tragically missed opportunity.

Menzelisthmus: the narrow body connecting two larger alteregos?
nat915

That makes my day.

Monsieur D'Arque

MrsJamieWellerstein

I give you a three week dead penguin. It'll be plenty green by then.
Monsieur D'Arque

Mel AKA Maureen

B3TA07

The worst part is, I think I know who you're talking about, and if I'm right, I'm totally with you on the semi-cute thing.

I used to watch that channel a lot...I don't know if I remember any semi-cute guys, maybe I'll go watch it again...heh.
B3TA07

I hate that channel now.

Gosh I remember the game...kids had "talents" ( mostly BS talents too ) and the judges could only ask Yes/No questions and guess it. If they broke the rules or if the Host just felt like it they would *SLIME* the judges.

Thus the legend of Nick's Slime was born. Ooooh.

edit://THE SLIME WAS GREEN! Sic Semper Tyrannus.

KRISTIN CHENOWETH!

Slime goes back way further than that my friend.
B3TA07

Oh wow. That blows my mind. Thanks for the pearls of wisdom. Rolling Eyes

Figure It Out or Slime Time Live?
B3TA07

Figur It Out! Thank you! If I'm not mistaken that came before Slime Time Live. Which it did. Ah, good times. I'm going to bed.

Alright, whenever Chenowith is mentioned, the present given must be pink. And if Norbert Leo Butz is mentioned, the present must have a three-word name... for instance, though a used Kleenex would not be an appropriate Butzaa present, a soggy old Kleenex would.

Spread this joy into other posts too... idina gets mentioned a LOT.

Didn't the slime originate with You Can't Do That On Television?

Or am I too young to remember the beginnings of slime? Sad
nat915

^I'm only 18, so I don't remember as well as some of you, but I'm pretty sure it started on You Can't Do That On Television.
Monsieur D'Arque

Slime goes back to Double Dare.
Bianca.

*flicks a booger at wikkiboppers*
Monsieur D'Arque

Haha- I accidentally bumped an old thread of mine thinking it was a new one. My sense of irony never really flew- creating a mock holiday for every original member of the Wicked cast seemed funnier in my head.

And the correct term for a wickibopper's language is Elphababble.
