hello.

i have an audition for damn yankees coming up very soon and i'm auditioning for the part of meg. i'm pretty obsessive when it comes to audition songs and have the more horrible time deciding on one. does anyone have any suggestions that would be good for a song for me? i'm an alto/mezzo with an okay belt and a solid head voice.

How about "So in Love" from Kiss Me, Kate?!? It's a kind of ballady, mournful, missin-your-man kinda song that is pretty much akin to Near to You. Break a leg.....I just got cast as Doris....and yeppers, I'm a guy.....talk about alternative casting!
