mask the musicalbwahahahaha. how bizarre. of all movies to adapt. MASK. not like jim carrey mask, but cher mask. crazy face mask. it was gonna workshop in my city but now it's in pasadena, so i've been paying attention to it a little. and now it's opening. maltby did the music.

Jim Carrey MASK the musical would've been so much cooler and better. How could a guy sing in that kind of face makeup? LOL

A friend of a friend did the costumes for it.
My friend went and saw it (this last weekend I think). She said they did a fairly good job of the adaptation to the stage.

I knew the actor that played the deformed boy in the movie. I thought the movie was great, but I'm not sure how it will work out as a musical. But then, I would have never figured Bat Boy or Urinetown as a successful musical. It all depends on how the material is treated. I will just have to wait and see.
