mary poppins scriptim a teacher at a primary school in londonfor our end of year show we would like to adapt the story of mary poppins for our production we are taking the children to see the show in april... however ...does anyone knoe where i can get a copy of the script for the show/film.. help most appreciated cheers mark |

poppins scriptwhats you email...i will go into school and see what i can find on the school computers...its the script from the west end stage show...so it has a evil nanny look after the kids and mary poppins rescues them ..etc.. so different from the film |

I don't want to rain on your parades, but be very, very, very careful about copyright issues if you're using the script from the West End/Broadway production. School production or not, if the Powers that Be come to hear that you're using their script without permission, they'll come down like a ton of bricks. I've just finished a production of The Thirty-Nine Steps which was adapted specifically for us, from Buchan's book (which is out of copyright) and we still had to be extremely careful as the London producers of a different version of the show were quite ready to issue us with a copyright suit if our production resembled theirs too closely. |

Thanks, but it will be more like a half-hour skit based on the Mary Poppins plot and the audience will consist of the other campers. |
