I will be auditioning for my college's production of Sweeney Todd, to be performed around October 2008. I am classified as both Baritone and Tenor. I have a range of E below bass clef to Ab above middle C. I am 6 foot and will audition for the roles of Sweeney, Beadle, and Judge Turpin. Please help me. My approach, if possible, is to use another Sondheim song. I guess I need a song with a wide range in order to cover both Bass and Tenor tessituras (how the voice sounds).

I think Judge Turpin would be good for you, I see him as quite an imposing figure.
