Makeup article about Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse productionThanks to Mungojerrie over at the costuming board for finding this:http://qconline.com/archives/qco/sections.cgi?prcss=display&id=280759 Great article with a bunch of (unfortunately watermarked) pictures of the Bombalurina makeup process. I'm seriously thinking about hopping over to the Quad Cities to see this production. It's directed by Stephanie Lang (Bway and Tour Cassandra), and she's proven in the past that she can put on a great show. Here's a pic from one of the online reviews:
EDIT: And another....

Cute Victoria. I don't like the Tugger though... Misto looks cool, but who is the one on top Coricopat or a different version of Munkustrap? | ||

I agree, the Tugger looks a bit... I don't know! But definatley a cute Victoria |

I'm not sure. I read an article saying this production rented the costumes from another regional production in.... St. Louis, I think? Some of the regionals have taken such liberties with the designs of the characters, it may very well be Munkustrap in that photo. It certainly is a Munk-type pose. |

Bought my ticket today! Going to see the show in a couple weeks. Should be a fun time. |

Ahhh, weird, because to me it's Vicky that looks odd. But she is still cute. May be its the shoulder fluffies that give her the weird look.
But yeah I bet the cast is still amazing! |

Thats cool Cassandra! Let me know how the show went!
BTW, the woman who plays Bom in that Makeup shoot went on to cover for Grizabella, the lead got chicken pox a week before opening. I have more links for her website. Purrs, VTWC |
