It's not bad. I like Dem's voice, she sings quite well. Hell, they all do. Not crazy about the costumes though. They're not *bad* as such, but they don't look like cats either. The catsuits had a run-in with William Gibson and lost, because the actors look like the LoTeks from the film Johnny Mnemonic. As a result the costumes don't work for convincing the audience that these people are cats. I did like Bom's makeup though.

And I know it was an auto show, but they could have worked around the spinning red car... Confused

Lol, I still think that "Macavity" was an attempt to sexify the cars... Razz

Seriously tho I totally love the Czech Bomba! She has an amazing voice! Plus from the videos I've seen, the Czech cast seem really energetic and fun Smile

But I agree on the costumes, they're very different....still at least not in a horrifying Polish "Koty" way... Razz

Bomba was the dark one right? I love her costume, hair and make up although the arm warmers didn't convince me much.

I don't get why the cars had to be there unless it was to advertise them, and yes the song was probably to erotize the advert of those cars (if they were there for such thing...)

But anyway this song has to sound erotic having the cars there or not. Maccavity is supposed to have sexappeal eventhough for Demeter he could have been more of a nightmare, however I think Demeter might have had a hidden crush on him (isn't that the Stockholm syndrome? when someone falls in love with the bad guy) or at least that's what the actresses who play that role show on this particular song. And in my opinion these two girls are the best Bomba end Dems Macavity's song I've seen so far, they have made me feel that sexappeal too.

Our Cats are a bit confusing - Bomba is the light one, Deme is black and red... Cool Hope that it will be clearer now Wink

It was the finale of national survey in which people were voting for the best car of the year. So the Cats were only a part of this show...

I love these costumes! They may not be based on Trevor Nunn's designs, but the they live up to reinterpretation of the characters without losing who the characters are. While the Cats costumes we know and love are actually Cats, these remind me of anthro-cats with grunge style. Cats you might actually find in a junkyard.
