Lyric/songwriter identification in a Jason Graae showI just saw a marvelous one-man show at El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood, CA, called "Graae's Anatomy" starring Jason Graae, and he sang a beautiful song that apparently was so good, I can't remember who wrote it or its title, which he mentioned at the end of it. I only recall scraps of the lyrics. The character meets someone in a bar and is terribly bad at this business of chatting up and he/she humbly doesn't know whether their conversation was too much or too little, how much of an impression they made, etc.
I'm heavily paraphrashing...
"Was I too forward to the point of being rude?"
"When I gave you my card... was I disarming?"
"Did I leave you wanting more or did I monopolize your time?"
The songwriter was Michael someone. Not on the order of fame as an Andrew Lloyd Webber or a Stephen Schwartz, but well-known. Any help identifying this would be greatly appreciated.
