As the premier of our production of Sweeney Todd comes, the more I lose faith of why I love this show... Sadly our director tries way too hard to rip off everything from Tim Burton, costume wise, character wise, everything about it. Even adding a flash back during Barber and his Wife, and everyone in the cast sucks, even I suck since I'm a baritone playing Beadle, so sadly I am so depressed about how this production is turning out I can't even love this show anymore, in fact I've lost faith in my singing, I just don't know what to do....

I have never been involved in shows before so I don't know what is the 'done' thing, but can't you just quit?

It would suck to be forced to hate such a great show as Sweeney Todd.

Copying the Tim Burton movie is so repulsive (Not saying the movie was bad at all, but I mean the fact that there is no originality).

Is there a website or something I can check this out?

Afraid so, worst part I have to be in it which sucks because in our balled opening we are all wearing black. And I can't quit, firstly my costume coasted me $124.00, along with the fact were opening this week. And it's best not to look onto their website, aside from the fact I can't find the link...and I'm praying this is never EVER filmed! In fact I'm not even gonna put this in my resume I'm so embarrassed about it

Well Tobais is a Kid, and a bad actor mind you(His last scene where he kills Sweeney sucks) I don't get to kill a bird, Everyone expect me and Turpin is copying the actors from the movie and no white streak

How did it go? I hope it magically became awesome.

A guy in my theatre group says that when we do this show next year, he is going to put a white streak in his hair during auditions, to show how Sweeney-ish he is.
Don't get me wrong, I love the white streak in the movie, but for him to do it as proof of his Sweeney-ness is so... I can't even think of the word.

Well we sucked balls. We had hardly any applause in the entire show, no one laughed at any of the jokes. So in a way we failed miserably and I'm ever so sorry to ever be in that show...

I mean, a bad show is one thing, but a bad production of a good show...
