Has anyone seen this trailer? It's not bad, but I am baffled at why they would use SJB's Elphaba instead Idina's? It just doesn't make sense. First, IDINA will be in London, NOT SJB! Second, I thought SJB didn't do the character as much justice as some other actors (I only saw videos of her, but I've seen a bootleg of Idina and she blew SJB out of the water on video.) I've seen Julia Murney live, but I still think they should have used Idina!!!

Please don't judge Stephanie by the bootlegs or video clips that you saw of her, just because they don't do anyone justice! Anyway, I think the reason that they used the Tour Promo clips is because they are much newer and better quality than the Press Reels which had Idina and Kristin in it. It makes more sense to use better quality and more interesting clips than older ones. Plus, the press reels with Idina don't really showcase Idina as much as something else would (she doesn't sound at her best in them).

I'm really not trying to judge Steph or anything, but it would have made so much more sense to use Idina! Who cares if you have to get Idina back on a stage to do the shoot one more time?!?! This is a big event for England and Universal should have gotten Idina to New York and shot some scenes for the trailer! But that's just my two cents.

Because they took the clips from the tour trailer and rearranged them and gave them different narration for the London trailer.

I know. That's what I am saying is stupid. They should have splurged and had Idina come back for new clips for the trailer.
