London preview performances?Hi there!
I was just wondering, what exactly are the preview performances; why are they different and cheaper? Are these like dress rehearsals that are open to the public and they make corrections in the middle of the show? Thanks!

They are the performances before a show opens when all the kinks are still being worked out of the show. I'm assuming Wicked's previews are going to be mainly working out the technical problems and any issues with the actors. In first run shows, they often work out parts of the show that just don't flow correctly. The perfomances won't be stopped in the middle or anything. I know a lot of shows have discounts on preview performances but I'm not sure if London Wicked will or not.

The tickets were very cheap fo the preview, my friend and i got ours for £20 the pair! Compared to more than double that if we'd bought them full price for the actual show. We're really excited we're goin on Friday 15th September!

Hi guys!
I'm going on the 8th September! So looking forward to it. Is there any reason why the full cast wouldn't be on that night? I went to see Guys and Dolls last year and Ewan McGregor had a night off! I was gutted! Don't want the same thing to happen here. Let me know what you think cos I don't really know how the whole preview thing works. Thanks in advance.
