She still has energy and a powerful voice for a broad her age, but I think bringing it down in the middle was a mistake. It got boring and she lost me. Whereas if she had just belted it out and gotten off the stage, it would have been more fun.

When I see these things, I always wonder, "Don't other countries have any of their own celebrities?"

On a "Stage and Screen" theme night, why not? Liza delivered a pretty damn good performance, even when taking into account the wear and tear on her voice. She got a good response from the crowd and she was better than most guest artists on any version of Idols end up being. She's just fabulous.

I don't know a single person who watches Australian Idol. It is utter crap now. I'm kind of embarrassed for Liza, having to perform on such a lame show.
