LITTLE WOMEN

Hi. I havent seen it but I am considering the perusal to look at for next year's high school show. Any comments about this would be helpful. I have a major boy shortage at my school. also if you could suggest anything that would be fun....I prefer edgy, that has a high ratio of girls to boys that would be great!
Thanks!

Guh...I saw this with a touring Broadway Company and hated it. I thought it was very dull. Some people adore it, though.

If it's on tour, it's not "Broadway." It was Equity, though...

I saw the tour 5 times. The show is not great by any means, but the cast was what kept me going back. It'll sink if your cast isn't strong.

I saw it at a Bapist College and I LOVED it!

I LOVED the CD before I saw the show but I like it better on stage.

Our Jo SUCKED MAJORLY! That was the only bad part.

OUR BETH ROCKED!

My community theatre did it (I wasn't in it)
AND IT WAS AMAZING! I LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!

The music is really pretty, but it's pretty much the only thing drawing the show forward. If you don't have enough talented females to fill all the parts of the sisters, especially Jo, then it's a bad ideas. The harmonies will make the show amazing, but if you can't do them it'll be extremely dull.

I so wanna play Jo when I get older.

Or if my high school does it (LONG STORY short My uncle, who hated Little Women, isn't teaching at my HS anymore so we could do it.)

She didn't say it was Broadway.
She meant it was a Broadway Tour. Chill.

I didn't detest it. I thought Sutton did a fabulous job with a less than fabulous show.
Artistic_heart

unforantly.

it could be a really show though!

I, personally, love the show. I've never seen it, but I have the CD, and I love it. Make sure you have good people, though, because, as people here have said, it was stink like crap if you don't have amazing people.

Well, its through a company called "Broadway Across America" so I figured calling it a Broadway Tour was fairly accurate.

Anyways, it's funny...But I've been listening to the music a lot and I've started to like it! I wonder if I would like it if I saw it again.

obviously

obviously by my signature you can tell i kinda love this show.
i didnt even know it was a musical until last summer.
Ive read the book like 8 times
seen BOTH movies too many times i can recite them.
And i love the play and was jealous and nearly beat up my sister when she got to do beth's getting scarlet fever scene during acting classes.

My dream role is Jo.
This is another one of those you really need to know the story in depth. Or else it can be boring. And you have to appreciate the drive and loving attitude jo has with her work and family. Which I completely relate to.

little women kicks ass no matter what anyone says!
and sutton is and was amazing in it.
