hows does everyone like this show and soundtrack?

I don't love the score, but there are some songs I enjoy. (i.e. Off to MA We Will Go and a few more) I saw it on Broadway and liked it, probably mostly because of Sutton Foster, but it's a good book and the show was fun to watch.

To me, it's one of those shows with scores that you just have to let pour over you. I really like the ballads in the show, even though their lyrics are abysmal and horrific. However, I do plan on seeing it on tour with $20 nose-bleed seats.

I LOVE this show, especially the score. My favorite numbers are "Some Things Are Meant to Be" and "Small Umbrella in the Rain."

What I love about the score is its richness. It is reminiscent of old school musicals.

I have the sheet music and the CD. I LOVE it! I saw Sutton in DTC and thought she had more talent then they let her use. My friend Erin suggested that I get the CD and I did. It's thanks to her that I like that show. I'd LOVE to play Jo or Meg someday.
