Little Shop AuditionHi,I'm 16 years old and I have an audition for LSOH in late September. I really, REALLY want to be an urchin. I'm a mezzo with a powerful belt. I can belt to a D, occasionaly an E. (Somes past roles I 've played that used my belt were Bet in 'Oliver', Annie in 'Annie') I know that the urchins are belters, and I don't think that the director or music director has ever heard me sing before, so I'm trying to find an uptempo song, similar to the style of LSOH, that shows off my belt. I think I might be too young to be an urchin, but I really think that, vocally, I could play one. I'm really having trouble finding an audition song. I'd really appreciate any suggestions!!! Thanks for that! I checked there, and found a bunch a good songs. I am looking into some of them. Hopefully one might work!...i'm really stuck for this audition! If anyone else has other other suggestions I'd really appreciate them, especially anything specific. Thanx again! |
