Lisa Rinna the next Broadway Roxie?

Just caught E! entertainment news show tonight.
They reported that Lisa Rinna has been approached by the producers of the show.
Kev

as well they should approach

she really grew throughout her time on DWTS to stunning moves, she's got the perfect look, and me thinks she'd be fine as either Roxie or Velma.

I think she'll be great.

It has to be Roxie though. Velma is just too belty for a female who does not have much singing experience.
Linda

They also mentioned that she has singing experience. From what? I am not familiar with her career.

I do agree is a good choice for Roxie.

That is too funny, I was watching Soap Talk last night and she was saying how she really wanted to be on Broadway, that it would be a dream come true for her, and I thought, "ladies and gentlemen, the next Roxie Hart."

(The episode was clearly taped awhile ago, because at that point she was still training for Dancing with the Stars....)

I was thinking the exact same thing. But then on one ep of DWTS they showed what her daily routine is and she goes nonstop during the day. And it's all in CA. Could she really afford to take time away from the Soap and her talk show? I'd love to see her too but I wonder how likely it is.

I wish we knew if Stacy K. could sing...she'd be a killer Roxie or Velma. With those legs???

Actually, many of the females on the show this year could fit into Chicago.

Tatum O'Neal would be a nice trashy Roxie, Tia or Giselle could play Roxie too.

I agree Tatum, Tia, and Giselle would all also work as Roxie.

I think Stacy lacks personality for Broadway, especially Roxie Hart. Plus some complained Brooke Shields looked too tall on stage (I didn't agree with that.) I can't imagine how tall Stacy would look on stage!
Linda

Tatum definitely for Roxie.

I picture Tia more as Velma.

Looks like DWTS could be an assembly line feeding Broadway show. Wink
