Let (Evan) stay, for christ sakeOk, assholes...
If some banned members are allowed back, why aren't all of them?
EvanGrubbs was banned- and his posting style hasn't changed since then.
Why can't (Evan) stay? He has done nothing wrong- especially on the "The Original Evan" user name. This is ridiculous.
Clearly this is being done out of spite. Since when has spite been a good enough reason to ban someone?

Torn...In favor here of letting both Evans back in.
They aren't raging, asswipe hypocrites.
They have balls (In more ways than one).
I firmly believe they are being themselves and I support that to the end. People must be allowed to be who they are. The others are fakes who parade with false sense of importance and troll under silly usernames, pretending to be others who are in support of them.
That's what I think.
I also acknowledge there's something called forum policy.
I believe it should be implemented yet I want both Evans back.
The fair, unbiased part of me wishes it were corrupt sometimes.
"I'm torn," is an understatement. It's more like, all this, has torn me a new one.

Well mostly because evan m. burned up all the chances he was given when the clean slate was started with the posting policy. Also it is keeping in line with the site owner's instructions concerning him before the posting policy was formed (which despite those instructions he was given a clean slate) which is why he keeps getting booted.

1) important as m.n is to all our lives, I'm unconvinced that Jesus is actually all that interested in what happens here, nor that the return or otherwise of Evan will have a direct impact on His well-being.
2) as the postings policy says, once your username has been banned, you can sign up for another one and we won't usually try to stop you, if with that new username you post in a way that conforms to the rules.
3) however, there are a very few users who in the past have been so extremely disruptive, and offensive to so many members, that it's SO likely that their return will see more of the same that, if the mods' job is to keep this place "friendly and safe", keeping someone banned is the only way to do that.
4) that has nothing to do with "spite", which has never been, and remains not, a reason for banning. My own personal feelings about Evan or anyone else are nothing to do with the decisions I make; I think the same is true of the other moderators.

I was speaking to Evan a couple of weeks ago. I told him about the situation that we all had to deal with (a certain MusicalForums person), and that (allegedly) he had been banned from Musicals.net.
His exact words were:
"Oh, I don't care."
"I don't go there, anymore."
There are more important things to worry about.

I'm not allowed to say anything that is out of line. I'm afraid you suffer from acute persecution complex. Just the other day I responded to trolling mediocrity IhateGB, with a graphic insult. Aimee PMed me and politely asked me to edit-out said insults. So, I did.
This was after that lame troll called her all sorts of derogatory names. I'm sure it wasn't easy asking me to edit-out such insults and it sure wasn't easy for me to carry-out her request, no matter how polite.
If you had any consideration for others, you'd realize that moderating this forum is a very difficult task and your refusal to follow simple rules is the main reason why.

I've tried. Repeatedly.
I've defended her from people who have said harsh things about her, out of the blue.
I've ASKED her twice to PLEASE leave me alone.
I've ASKED her twice if she would like to bury the hatchet.
I've said many times, that I HATE fighting like this, but I also firmly believe in defending myself and letting my voice be heard.
I'm not the one with the problem.
