Les Mis Audition Today!!!!!I have Les Mis audition today!! Ma first audition outside of my current society!! ok i have only been doing the whole "drama fing" a year but still this is a big moment for me!!! Im auditionin for the part of Javert, does any1 have any audition tips or anything that could help me today???????

What song are you singing? Make it as threatening as you like if you want to show his side at the start of the show. If you want to reate layers, start off as really threatening but gradually make him more vunerable. Think of Javert's Suicide.

One thing that stands out in my mind about Javert's I've seen on stage is that they really take the space. They have a physical presence that says they're in control and determined. While you should always make strong choices in your acting, make sure your movements match. That's not to say you need to make fists and wave them around in the air, but do commit to any movements or gestures you may make. Javert doesn't do anything halfway, so make sure you put energy into your body that matches the energy behind your voice.
