I'm doing color guard this year for my school, and we were told to get black bodysuits/leotards and thongs.
Any suggestions for the type of thong?
Any suggestions for a place to get a leotard or body suit? Preferably a chain store like Target, but I don't know if they sell them.

I dont believe that Target or any chain stores sell Leotards or Body Suits, try a local dance clothing store!

And type of thong: Isnt there only one type? girls please correct me if im wrong, ive never worn a thong therefore, i do not know!

For dance, you want a thong that doesn't cut in on you. Look at Victoria's Secret.
As far as a leotard, there are soo many choices. Can you be more specific as to a cut or make that they want? There are tons of online retailers. One of my faves is discountdance.com and another is dancedistributors.com.

All I can help you with is what was already said: try a dance store for the leotard. Make sure you get something comfortable that you can easily more and lift your arms in.

If you have a fabric choice, I like supplex best for leotards. Dries alot faster than cotton, and feels nice on the skin.

If it's cold outside, though, you'll want a heavier cotton lycra leo. Less chance of a fatal attack of headlights.

Plus, one can suffer a fatal attack of headlights. Especially at football games up here.
