Thank God it's Cariou and not Hearn.

I'm not one to choose one version over the other, though Hearn wouldn't be right with Lansbury.

I like Hearn and LuPone in the 2001 Concert.

This was well...cool...
The REAL Ciaron

My god even at 80 this woman kicks ass!!! Notice the devil horn hairdo!! HAHA. Amazing chemistry with these two.

Anyone remember when he would come on Murder She Wrote? HAHA

Does anyone have a link to what Cariou's voice sounded like before he hurt it? I'm assuming that's why it sounds like it does on this.

Here he is with Glynis Johns doing "Send in the Clowns". He was so hot when he was young!!

^That was really nice! It's sort of ironic, in the first clip he reminds me of Cerveris.

Really? Cariou was Murder she wrote? What Episide(s)? I love watching the reruns on Saturday mornings when I get the chance.

On another note, it's so nice to see so much appreciation for a fellow Canadian (Cariou). I actually wasn't aware of his origins untiul I looked him up. I was very pleasently surprised Very Happy Does anyone have any links to good clips of him doing Sweeney. I've only seen the Lansbury/Hearn movie plus other random clips with different actors, including pieces from the revival, but nothing with Cariou. I'd really like to see his Sweeny since everyone says it's so good. So does anybody know where I could find some good stuff?

Well, now we can compare Hearn and Cariou! Smile Thanks for posting the clip!

BTW, I've been wondering that myself, what episode(s) of Murder She Wrote does Len appear in?

Well keep in mind Len is in his late 70's in that clip.

As far as Murder She Wrote? He played Mike Hagarty he would pop in and out. He was on for most of the shows run.
EponineBarker

True. But at least there's a clip of Cariou doing something Sweeney-related. I didn't think anything exsisted. (sp?)

And thanks for the MSW info.

he did about 10-12 episodes throughout the series. George Hearn and Jerry Orbach also had recurring roles.

Speaking of Len having a reoccuruing role on MSW, how many seasons did it run? If it ran for more than 1, was Len in both seasons?

And another thing, I remember reading somewhere on here, that at the end of one episode with Len, it ended with Len, Angela, and a razor all in the same room. (An interesting reminder of SW...) If anyone knows what I'm talking about, (I don't even know what I'm talking about! lol) could you tell me what episode it was? Or if it even exsisted? Confused
Sweeney Hyde

Yes, that episode existed. At the end one of them was holding a razor, Len I think...obviously an inside joke for those who knew their history. I'm not sure which episode or season it was in.
EponineBarker

Whew! I was worried for a moment that I was talking crazy!

I really would like to see that episode, so if anyone can tell me what episode it was or even the season it was in, that would be greatly appreciated. (sp?)
