I am in desperate need of help here. Okay, so there's this theater putting on a revue with bunches of different songs--old classics and newer stuff--so we can pretty much audition with anything. singing something from the show isn't a problem, and nor is overly sung material.

my problem: i am a sweet soprano who cant belt to save her life. im fabulous on ballads that dont require belting. also, something that has a really wide range would be great...i can go really high but not so low...

Anything Rodgers and Hammerstein normally has at least one good legit soprano song. However, there are some exceptions so don't go attacking me!

Check out the "Singers Musical Theatre Anthology" Soprano books. There will be loads of stuff in there. Happy hunting
