Yes, it's been posted (SEARCH), and it already came. The pre-Broadway production in San Francisco closes next weekend.

Did anyone see it?
Ok, so I know its such a ridiculous premise for a musical - but it is so one of my favorite movies. Here's crossing my fingers to a great jogging soundtrack!

I'm not sure if I'll have time to see it, but I'm curious.

i'm not going to get a chance to see it. I could only afford one musical to see that's here right now and i chose Jersey Boys.

Hmm... my views on this are kind of mixed. It seems cute and fun and everything like that, but too... idk... almost too upbeat for Broadway. I don't think the 2000s are a great time to produce upbeat, happy musicals.

I'm curious in a sick, morbid way kind of like the way people on one side of the highway always stop to look at a bloody accident on the other side of the divider. I think it's going to be a catastrophe and I'm fascinated about how bad it can be.

I was about to say that...

I saw it. I thought it was cute, not a great work of art but more like fun cotton candy. It needs some work; some songs aren't good, but I really enjoyed a lot of it. The opening song is so catchy that it will stick with you well past when you don't want hear it anymore.

Have you seen The Wedding Singer, Celeste_SM? Was it better or worse than Legally Blond?

You know, I think everyone has thier own tastes in "bad musicals." We each have one bad musical we love. If it's more than two or three, there are some serious issues, but everyone loves seeing a musical with no levity or depth and no attempts at depth whatsoever. For me, that musical is The Wedding Singer. I don't know if I'd be able to cope with another, for lack of a better word, blond musical.

I haven't seen Wedding Singer, unfortunately, but a lot of my friends who have compare it as being similar to Legally Blonde. They say Legally Blonde has better muscial theater music, but the pop-candy factor is similar. That's just word of mouth.

I totally agree on personal taste on "bad musicals." That's why it's an art form! I don't think I'll ever love Legally Blonde, but I didn't think it sucked. But it was pretty blonde, as you say. Cabaret, it ain't.

I am from lexington, ky and actually went to the same high school as Laura but i graduated 4 years after her. I don't know how the musical is because i haven' seen it but its great to know she has found success on broadway, first as an alternate for Glenda in Wicked and now as Elle in Legally Blonde. Congrats Laura!!
