Aww, does that mean Deliah Hannah is leaving? |
| Belle |
That's the world tour then? cool....
Interesting that Grizabella is aka "the non dancing role". Presumably not in the was Victoria is aka "The White Cat" - I don't think anyone's ever asked for an autograph from "the non dancing cat"! Anyway, Griz does dance Jellicle Songs... She doesn't get off completely free... |

Grizabella is a bit strange as a part. I mean she is on the show for like, what? ten minutes and still she is tendered as one of the main caracters and is singing the most famous song Memory. And she is definatily a part were its more important to sing than to dance. But in a way she is Cats in manys eyes. Must be a bit ambivalent to play that part.
Would be fun if the world tour (if its the show were talking about) would drop by anywhere near sweden. |

Grizabella is in the Prologue, Naming, Glamour Cat, middle of the ball (from start of the 'wirlygigs' and during the mating dance, getting chased off by Alonzo during the shakey part), her sad dance and short Memory, in the back during Moments, and then the final Memory and Heaviside Layer. |

I didnt remember seeing her in prolog or naming... or is she looking different? |
| Belle |
She does look somewhat different... a dark grey tabby unitard, smooth makeup, warmers, she looks like a grey-based, darker version of Bombalurina. She's commonly known as "Young Griz" or "Chorus Griz". She keeps the unitard under her dress and coat, but swaps wigs for the grey curls.

So isnt it more correct to say its another case of "double casting" rather than Griz is on then? |

Not really. It's just so the Prologue is truly 'the Company.' Old D and Tugger are there in chorus forms as well. |
