So some of you may have seen The Drama Queen's post about her school switching from Into the Woods to Guys and Dolls. Yeah, I go to the same school (she's my sister), but my situation is a little more cramped.

I'm leaving for a missions trip in Africa next Monday and the auditions are next Thursday, so I have to make a tape of my audition before I leave. I'm not sure when I'll be doing it, but it'll be either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday this week, so I need an audition piece for Sky FAST.

Some things I've already worked on with my voice teacher that would be preferable to choose from: Giants in the Sky from Into the Woods, Once In A Lifetime from Stop the World - I Want to Get Off, So In Love from Kiss Me, Kate, Corner of the Sky from Pippin, and Johanna from Sweeney Todd.

I'm thinking So In Love, but what do you think?

Before I got to the end of your message, I was thinking "So In Love"... you need something suave. Plus, both musicals are older. The others may be too much of a different style. Besides Johanna, I don't really know the others, though. Might post this on the Auditions forum for GI Jane, if you haven't already...
