I recently read a book called A Year With the Producers by Jeffry Denman, the last Broadway Munkustrap and when I read that he played Munkustrap that confused me. I thought Michael Gruber played Munkustrap during the last few years on Broadway, so then I went to www.ibdb.com and Michael's profile said that he was a replacement, but Jeffry Denman's profile said the same thing. What am I missing here?

has Michael Gruber listed until Sept 1999. After that, they have Jeffry Denman.

Denman was definately the very last Munkustrap on Broadway. Gruber did get to play him in the last days as well, but was not the final Munk.
