Larkin Monologue and Song Suggestions????

I am auditioning for Lady Larkin--can anyone suggest a few songs and monologues that would work for this character?

Thanks!!

Look at ingenue songs. Rodgers and Hammerstein would be good place to start looking.

Whatever you do, do NOT sing "I Could Have Danced All Night"! At my college, you're basically ignored if you do that song.

for larken it is best to have a high soprano voice range song
monologues could be anything about falling in love
or realizing that you loved someone u thought you hated
or something funny

Hang on, what about Show Me for Larken? It's from My Fair Lady, somewhat ingenueish, from a classical musical, shows a range of emotion and I don't think it's overdone.

Capital suggestion, Shoe! If you must do a MFL song, Show Me would be perfect!

^I think I've found myself a future audition song!

And your use of the word "capital" made me giggle. Keep using it! Very Happy
