for larken it is best to have a high soprano voice range song
monologues could be anything about falling in love
or realizing that you loved someone u thought you hated
or something funny

Hang on, what about Show Me for Larken? It's from My Fair Lady, somewhat ingenueish, from a classical musical, shows a range of emotion and I don't think it's overdone.
