hey all! It's been a long time since I've been around here....anyway -

So, I know Jazzy has posted some info about LaDuca shoes, and I was looking for a little bit more help. I am going to by some - I'm so excited! Now the thing is, they have introduced a new "Student line" LaDuca Prima.

They seem to be the same shoes, but lower prices. Has anyone bought these? What makes them different from LaDuca's regular professional line. The price difference is about $75. I don't see the reason to spend the xtra money if I'm basically getting the same shoe...but if they really are different I could spend the xtra $

I am planning on buying 2.5" beige. I haven't decided yet on the "T" strap (the Teresa/Terri style)


or "Y" (Cherie/Charlize style)


Which one do you think?

I would go with t-straps because they're more versatile and can be used in more shows.

The T's ... definitely!

I have them ... GREAT character shoes ... very versatile and comfy for shows!

Definetely the T's- the Y's look very odd and distracting on stage, especially when everyone else is in T's or plain strap character shoes.

alrighty, I got the t-straps. And I went for the pro line even though they were more. They should get here next week! SO excited!

I am glad you chose the pro line. Generally speaking, shoes for students have leather that is not the best, while the professional shoes the leather is much more supple and will mold to your foot faster.
