Kate McGowan (Titanic) audition on May 15th!Hi everyone! I have a Titanic audition for the role of Kate McGowan on the 15th and nothing in my repetoire of songs seems to fit her character!
She is bold, spirited and ambitious--soprano in range.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a song that would fit a character like this?

There's a really helpful list of songs on the first few pages of the "Audition Song Thread" that you may be able to use for this audition.
We tend to have that thread so we don't clutter the board with a bazillion "what should I sing?" questions...
Another helpful thing you can do when you post up there is tell us what roles you've played in the past and what songs you sing well/what songs are in your rep...

hmmm. I was in that play, im a guy mind you, so I didnt audition for the role. but the girl that did chose a song that was very open- you will want to find something that is casual, don't make it a serious song, if you know what I mean.
