Was in New York this past weekend and yesterday finally got the chance to see Tarzan!

I have to say I've fallen in love with it! Yes, some parts of it were cheesy and stupid but it was heart touching and funny! The music is beautiful and so is Josh....haha! I think it's become my new obsession.

Everyone was spetacular...some more than others though...The understudy for Kerchak Darrin Baker was on and in my opinion he had a BEAUTIFUL voice but his acting skills were a little off. Andrea Dora was the understudy for Kala and she was amazing! I got the chance to speak to her before the show and she's really sweet...she made me cry in the show.

Josh....oh Josh....I wish he was straight! lol He was amazing! I never would have thought he was that good! But he played the part like it was made just for him. I guess doing it for so long he's def got the emotion down. He was just Tarzan personified.

Chester as Terk was unbelievable!! His voice gives me chills! He's got a CD coming out that I may just get There's one part where he comes in before Trashin the Camp. He's hanging over the audience upside down and be-bopping and hitting some notes that I didn't think possible! He was A+!

Jen as Jane was awesome! She was hysterical on most of her lines and her voice is to die for. I want to be her....in fact I will haha! The chemistry between her and Josh was something that made my heart stop in my seat and be completely jealous of and and wanting to be in her place lol

The ensemble was fabulous!! I loved watching them in the backgound! I absolutely love how they walked! I want to go home and practice the feet and knuckles run! haha The energy they all exuded was amazing. The choreo was great!



Ugh I LOVE this show and plan to go see it again!!!

Edit: I had to add that th Spider scene is still in the show (one of the cheesy parts) They may have altered it but it's still there and that's where Tarzan saves Jane...all I could say when I saw that part was "Damn, she can fit alot of stuff under her skirt! Lucky Girl!" haha
