just cast in West Side Story! :)YAY! i got cast in West Side Story as A-Rab and Chino  ...we are doing a totally different version of the play...its romeo and juliet script with west side story music interesting huh? i thought so...but im way excited

Is that legal? I'm not sure if copyright laws still exist on WSS...I remember when I was little we learned about how long it takes for copyright laws to "expire," and if I remember correctly, plays and theater had 75 years. (Either way, though, I doubt the restrictions would be as anal and tightlipped as those for, say, Les Mis.)
Either way, congrats on the parts! A-Rab was always one of my favorites.

I hope you have fun, I loved being in West Side Story... It's an amazing experience.
But I agree with Kragey, isn't that illegal to be using the music but not the actual script? Anyways, congrats and best of luck!
