Julie Andrews possible voice restoration

http://www.broadway.com/buzz/oscar-winner-julie-andrews-voice-may-be-restored-groundbreaking-surgery/

She may undergo a surgery to restore her voice after it was damaged during a surgery in 1997.

I'm ecstatic because I love her voice and I'm so happy for her because if I ever lost my singing like that, I don't know what i'd do.

Gettum, Julie!!

This makes me so excited. I really hope the procedure is successful!!
Matthew

I want her to talk me to sleep.

I hope it actually works :S
Yakko

Is this even possible???

Woah, that would be incredible!
Bare Fan

It would be amazing if they could do that I loved her voice...would they be able to restore her full four octave range though?

I'm guessing, if it is restored, only part of it is going to be restored. I'm no expert on the human voice, but sometimes if a voice is lost, it takes time to recover, even if placed together, even someone as natural as her.

I would imagine it wouldn't be an overnight cure BAM she returns to Broadway as Mamma Rose the next day..

But still since they haven't done this procedure before we can't really say for sure how well it would work etc..
Beagle On Stage

I'd like to see her as Norma.

^^That would be awesome!!!

I really really would love that to work out for her! She certainly deserves it.

I wish her all the best...
I've always thought very highly of her and looked up to her as an inspiration. Love her!!

Let's hope it works.
