JennyI just got cast as Jenny...I'm a bit upset really...stage agent describes the character as 'boring' and 'conservative'...can anyone tell me more about her?

She is a "sqaure". Yes, she is a bit boring and afraid to have fun. She has to be a good role model for her kids. In her big scene, David and Bobby are trying to convince Jenny to smoke pot. She doesn't want to, but eventually gives in.

In the production I just saw, she'd been smoking it before the scene began and didn't realize she was already stoned. She was saying she didn't feel anything and didn't think it was working for her.
It very funny, but the audience at one of the performances actually seemed a bit put off by such casual drug use on stage.
She does, however, revert to being proper and "square" after "You Could Drive A Person Crazy" and tells Bobby to put the pot away.

Jenny is a very fun role. she gets some of the best lines in her scene.
