I had a really, really strange dream last night.

In my dream, I was going to audition for the opera. (I have no idea why - I don't even do opera) In these auditions there was a small room with you and the director, and you basically did your stuff and they told you if you were in. But you had to bring the director a gift of food! I brought him some spicy soup in a huge metal tureen...but he didn't like soup! (He also didn't like alcohol which was what the person before me got him. I got the feeling he didn't like much!) I was really worried that I'd got off to a bad start but I started my routine as best I could. At about this point the audition changed to one for Cats! So I was dancing as sexily as I could thinking along the lines of "well maybe I can get back on his good side this way, and I might be cast as Bombalurina". Then he told me that I was cast as....the Bear in Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer! I was a little puzzled cos I didn't remember their being a Bear in Mungo and Teazer but apparently their was. I came onto this board and told people about what had happened, and Lady Jemima said to me "never mind, they might still cast you as Bombalurina, you never know what goes through a director's mind!" And then someone else said that when the Bear is used, the costumes are like the original Broadway cast with Mungo and Teazer (and, apparently, the Bear) wearing newspapers etc. And that's all I can remember!

*shrugs* it sort of shows you the wierd things that go through my mind. I mean, a bear????

I had a dream a few years ago with the jellicles in it. I don't remember much of it, but i do remember being a jellicle (not one of the show characters, me as a jellicle) and standing too attention in a line. The Rum Tum Tugger was marching up and down wearing a green army helmet and he had one of those army stick thingys under his arm. He was giving us some kind of motovational speech before he sent us off to fight. I don't know who we were attacking, i have a feeling it was humans.

I've had many CATS dreams before...
One I remember was that Pouncival had a microphone and was singing some type of love song to the other Jellicles. But the other cats didn't like it so they started ganging up on him, until Tugger stepped in and tried to help Pouncival; but with no luck. The other cats pulled Pouncival in and started attacking tearing at his fur until he became bald.
When they let him free he became overly posessive of his microphone and started screaming out something like:
"Why did you hurt my microphone!"
or
"My dear thing! You killed it!"
And started attacking the other Jellicles...

I was no one in this dream, but when I woke the following morning I was like, "What was that all about!?!"

oh like, all the time! usually wake up sad as my dreams are usually set inside the new london theatre and then realise it's not there anymore gets me so upset, but the dreaming part is always good!
