Hey!

I'm new here... somehow I stumbled across this forum by sheer coincidence and thought, "AWESOME".

Okay, here's my dilemma. I'm planning to audition for "Jekyll and Hyde" for a youth theatre company in my area (in May). I've performed with them like 3...or was it 4 or 5 other times...? Well, either way, this company knows me...Anyways, I'm planning to go for either Lucy or Emma.

Here's the thing - I normally sing ballad type songs for auditions with this company so I'm sure if I wanted to go for Emma I'd have a pretty good chance... I'd like to switch things up a bit and show off a different side and go more for Lucy. What's a good song that's a little more up tempo (a la "Bring on the Men") for mezzo to soprano range (I'm a soprano - but I can do most mezzo as long it's not *too* low).

Basically I just want a fun song to entertain everyone at the auditions with. Any ideas???? I'd really appreciate them!
