Well, over in Japan cosplay seems to be a national pastime, unlike here. Although I have to admit it's fun to dress up in full Cats gear and hit the sushi bars...

I WANT the Bom and Demi outfits!!

Those costumes are absolutely eye-popping. The details and brushwork on the unitards is spectacular--I'm guessing they painted with actual dyes, but I wish I knew more about the technique and specific brushes that were used. The wigs sure look like yak hair to me...anyone else have an opinion?

Really spectacular stuff. Even the makeup looks professional. I personally love Sillabub the best--she looks so young and sweet and innocent! There's just something about Japanese faces that make for good kittens.
