OMG! Everytime I see the Japanease cast I melt - I love them!

I really think that Japan have some of the most gorgeous looking make up and cast.

Wow! I watched that after viewing the Nightline clip and these Cats move so fluidly across the screen. One cat jumps then another in perfect grace, at least to my untrained eye.

But hearing the lyrics in Japanese is strange. I hear Jerreko for Jellicle. How do they say Jellicle in Japanese?

They just say "Jellicle", which is common amoung the Japanese songs I've heard... they keep in some English words or phrases.

Japanese really love details and give symbols to basically everything. This is probably why the Tugger used to be all white, and why Sillabub was turned yellow, and why Jenny is so colorful!

I also LOVE the female Cats wigs. Ever notice how Japanese female Cats have very different wigs from the males? The males have bouffy, huge wigs while female have clean cut, well brushed wigs. Everything is very well thought. My friend is a huge manga fan and knows a LOT about the Japanese culture. I really should ask her to analyse the japanese Cats some day. May be she could explain a bit of the symbols that are hidden in the show.

Neat production indeed. And yes, they are amazingly good dancers and singers. Ever heard of the amazing Japanese discipline?

I always loved the Japanese Sillabub. Her and Munkustrap are very close in the Japanese production. (I think. o.O It's been a while.) Always thought that was cute.
